The Wine
The Hunter Valley is Australia’s oldest wine growing region and its alluvial flats produce rich full flavoured wines of which this chardonnay is a great example. This chardonnay exhibits the rich flavours of tropical fruit and citrus. It is a medium-bodied wine with a creamy mouth-feel along with fresh crisp finish and persistence.
Region
Hunter Valley, New South Wales
Aroma
This delightful, fruit-driven wine exhibits the classic chardonnay characters of tropical fruit as well as some citrus overtones and slight oak influence.
Food Match
A great accompaniment to dishes such as lamb chops or roast duck with plum sauce.
Cellaring
An enjoyable white wine with a fresh crisp finish, which can be enjoyed now or carefully stored for rewarding drinking over the next 5 years.
