In the late 1800’s Owen Patrick McGuigan was a young dairy farmer struggling to make ends meet. In order to support his wife and six kids he also laboured in the local vineyards. Harvest time became a family affair with the whole family toiling in the vines by day and being serenaded by Owen’s violin at night.
Owen was the first of four McGuigan generations to be inspired by the wine industry. His dedication and hard work has been an endearing McGuigan trait through the years.
